KTDA Farmers Company was established in 1996 and has over 221,000 shareholders drawn from smallholder tea farming areas all over Kenya.
Though the mandate of the company is wide, it has concentrated on investments property constituting 82% and investments inventory (land) at 17% of the total assets. There are minor investments in the financial market amounting to Kshs 4.1 Million, constituting 0.26 % of the total assets as at the end of June 2018.
